Appointments are always best, the ideal situation would be to bring your car, drop it off the day before and pick it up when it’s finished. But we do our best to accommodate what ever schedule that works best for you. we generally don’t work evenings or weekends but we have been known to start work early in the morning. So if your car is here by 8:00 am It’ll likely get started by 8:00 am.

At Chester European, Automotive, we use an industry standard formula to calculate labour cost per job, not per hour. All costs are kept competitive, OEM parts or equivalent. By equivalent, we mean some aftermarket parts are all that are available now, especially for older VWs. But rest assured we won’t install any part on your vehicle that we wouldn’t install on our own vehicles.
At Chester European Automotive, we’re committed to providing the highest quality repairs and ensuring every vehicle leaves our shop performing its best. For that reason, we don’t install customer-supplied parts. This policy helps us maintain our reputation for quality and reliability by ensuring only trusted, high-grade components are used. It also allows us to keep our pricing structure fair and transparent—our business model depends on both parts and labour to cover costs and continue offering the expert service our customers expect.
Some jobs are easy to quote, like timing belt replacement, scheduled services and oil changes, just to name a few. Other jobs like engine conversions, fabrication, even a thorough brake job often cannot be quoted as accurately. However, we do our best to keep any repairs and services you need within a reasonable budget. As always, your vehicle has the last word on the cost.
